Let’s begin with a bit of linguistic trivia: How many of you know that Japanese has an expression for the area of exposed skin between the top of knee-high socks and the hemline of a skirt? No, this is not a joke, people–the actual term is 絶対領域 (zettai ryouiki), which literally means “absolute territory,” but I’m sure some of you already knew that.
If you didn’t, now is as good a time as ever to add that phrase to your mental lexicon, with LED light-emitting skirts about to enter the world of fashion and all!

UPDATE: 4th story added.
Around the beginning autumn of last year, I began working on several new adult science fiction short stories — work I wanted to share just for the sheer craziness of it. I had worked on two pieces that were submitted to anthologies (one which was accepted and other which is still in the process), but felt I wanted to get some new material out to fans and potential new readers, so I began working on the new material.
Though I have yet to finish all the pieces to my satisfaction, two (“In the Service” and “HyperReal Japan”) are ready with “Jizzemboweler” being work from 2012 (now with swank cover from John “Skip” Hawks). Each of the new title released (including the above) will have covers from author Joseph Duncan.
Please feel free to download and share each of the titles, but respect the work I have put into them by not repackaging or selling them in any way, shape or form.
If you have any questions, or are interested in my work, feel free to contact me (see below).

UPDATE: With apologies, there is now a second version (v2) of “In the Service” in the folder. If you read the original, you probably caught the errors. The newer version addresses those and tightens up the prose just a little. No major changes. No further changes expected as I do my best to upload only finished ebooks. Alas, I am human.
Made in DNA is an American short story and novella author.
Set on gritty, furious, far-flung extrasolar planets where racy, hardcore sex with aliens, cyborgs, robots and similar agents is as central to its nature as technology is to science fiction, Made in DNA’s work is described as “sexpunk” and “sex-fi”. It is unadulterated, unapologetic and self-indulgent sexploitation fare reminiscent of work by Masamune Shirow, or featured in Heavy Metal Magazine, Epic Illustrated or 2000AD.
Originally from the U.S. Midwest, he currently lives in Japan with his wife and three children.
